For people who already hired
Is your overseas hire actually working out?
Most hiring tools stop the day someone signs. That's the day the real question starts — and three months later you either have someone brilliant or a problem you saw coming and didn't name.
Tell us who you hired and what they actually do. You get a 30/60/90-day plan built from that — not a template — and then once a month we ask you and them the same short questions, separately, and put both answers next to each other. Where they disagree is nearly always the thing worth knowing.
Why this exists
The performance tools everyone names — Lattice, Leapsome, 15Five — are good products that will not sell to you. Their published minimums start at $4,000 to $6,000 a year, so a business with three overseas staff is locked out by the floor rather than the price. And none of them know what your hire was supposed to be doing in the first place; they start from zero on day one.
The other half of it is distance. Someone eight thousand miles away who is quietly stuck looks exactly like someone who is quietly fine, and by the time the difference shows it has usually been true for months.
Set it up
Two minutes. The only field that really matters is what they actually do — everything else is built from it.
Common questions
Do I have to have hired through Rolemote?
No. It works for anyone with an overseas hire, however you found them — OnlineJobs.ph, a friend, another agency. If we did place them we already know what they were tested on; if we didn't, that is exactly what the questions on this page are for.
What does my hire see?
They get their own check-in email once a month with the same questions, and they answer separately from you. They do not see your answers, and you see theirs — that asymmetry is deliberate and we tell them so plainly. They never see a score, because we don't produce one.
Is this a monitoring or surveillance tool?
No. There's no tracking software, no screenshots, no activity monitoring, and nothing gets installed on anyone's machine. It's a monthly written question to both of you, and a plan for the first 90 days. If you want keystroke logging, we're the wrong product and we'd rather say so.
Does an AI decide whether my hire is doing well?
No. It summarises what the two of you wrote and points at where your answers disagree — which is usually the useful part. It never scores anyone and it never recommends firing anyone. You read both sides and make your own call, which is the only sensible way round and also the only responsible one.
What does it cost?
Nothing right now. It's free while we finish building it, and there's no card. When it becomes paid it'll be a flat monthly fee for your whole team rather than a per-person charge — the big performance tools start at $4,000 a year minimum, which is why nobody with three people can use them.
