How this site makes money
Short version: some outbound links are referral links. Here's exactly how that works.
When you click certain links to services we cover (for example, a job board's signup page) and later subscribe, that service may pay us a referral commission. You pay nothing extra — the commission comes out of the service's own revenue, at their standard published affiliate terms.
Two commitments that make this workable: verdicts are written before monetization is considered — the comparison tables and recommendations on this site would read identically with every referral link removed, and several services we recommend for specific situations pay us nothing at all. And referral links are marked — outbound links that can earn a commission carry a sponsored/nofollow tag, and every page that contains them carries the footer disclosure you likely arrived from.
If you'd rather we earn nothing from your click, navigate to any service directly — the information here is identical either way.
