What Rolemote is
An independent research project on the overseas hiring market.
The offshore hiring market runs on identical marketing claims — "top 1% talent," "80% savings" — published above unpublished prices. Deciding well requires the numbers underneath: what the agencies actually charge, what the talent actually earns, what the guarantees actually say. Rolemote exists to collect those numbers in one place.
Three rules govern everything published here:
1. Primary sources. Fees, salary ranges, and terms are taken from the named company's own published pages wherever possible, with the date we checked. 2. Labeled uncertainty. When a number is secondhand or an estimate, it says so — "reported" and "commonly cited" mean exactly that. 3. Verdicts you can audit. Every recommendation links the sources it rests on, so you can check our reading rather than trust our word.
